Anti-Poverty Programmes

Jahangirnagar University supports access to higher education through scholarship and financial assistance opportunities. Its published notices include university supplementary scholarships, the Trust Fund Scholarship, and financial grants for undergraduate and postgraduate students. These opportunities can help eligible students manage educational expenses and continue their studies.

The university also publishes notices concerning government stipends for students from minority communities and students with visual and other disabilities. By facilitating access to these schemes, Jahangirnagar University supports the participation of groups that may face additional barriers to higher education.

03

Improving Access to Basic Services

Jahangirnagar University’s student support infrastructure includes residential halls, a Medical Centre, a Students Counselling and Guidance Centre, and a university library. Together, these facilities provide accommodation and access to health, counselling, and learning resources within the university environment.

Scholarships, financial assistance opportunities, and student services are relevant to SDG 1: No Poverty because they can help address barriers to educational participation.

04

Research Relevant to Policymaking
